CHM has been awarded the contract for track and infrastructure renovation in the stations of Benidorm, Teulada, Gata and Denia in collaboration with other companies.

The Temporary Business Association formed by CHM Obras e Infraestructuras, S.A. and Tecsa Empresa Constructora has been awarded the first contract arising from the tender announced by the Valencia Government Ministry of Infrastructure (Conselleria de Infraestructuras) for track and infrastructure renovation in the stations of Benidorm, Teulada, Gata and Denia, with an award price of 3.7 million euros (not including VAT). The section between Calp and Denia is currently out of action following the agreement by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana last month to close it for safety reasons.

The planned work will consist of renovating tracks and branch lines as well as platforms, repairs and refurbishments to buildings on the stations of Benidorm, Teulada, Gata de Gorgos and Denia, plus raising the platform at l’Alfàs del Pi. The facilities will also be given a general facelift.
