Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) has awarded CHM in a joint venture with FCC and Convensa, the track renewal and infrastructure refurbishment works on Line 9 of the Tram, between the stations of Calpe and Teulada. This action is part of the works that the Regional Ministry of Housing, Public Works and Territorial Development is carrying out to modernize this line. The award amounts to 15.7 million euros, has a completion period of 12 months and includes work on tunnels, bridges and structures on the line. The renovation of these more than 12 kilometers of track will improve safety conditions, improve user comfort, increase the durability of the track and reduce maintenance.
Likewise, last October, CHM, in a joint venture with Tecsa, was also awarded the works of another section of Line 9 of the Tram, Benidorm-Dénia, for an amount close to 4 million euros.
