CHM Obras e Infraestructuras, S.A. together with the company Vías y Construcciones, the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Technological Centre of Construction of the Region of Murcia, have started research and development of the Project “Mitigation of Vibrations in Railway Infrastructure” (AVIF) funded through the aid program Retos de Colaboración 2015, the State program of Research, Development and Innovation Facing the Challenges of the Company under the State Plan of Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2013-2016 promoted by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.
The aim of the challenges call for collaboration is to support cooperation projects between companies and research organizations in order to promote the development of new technologies, business application of new ideas and techniques, and contribute to the creation of new products and services.
The aim of AVIF project is to design an attenuator system of railway vibrations, able to adapt to the needs for attenuation of rail vibration in any scenario, thanks to its flexibility to adopt different configurations and match different attenuation mechanisms, both cutoff frequency as absorption. He therefore developed a new product which by its versatility is able to mitigate the transmission of vibrations in any rail system. This will be your main competitive edge over products currently on the market, as each of them is only useful in very specific scenarios.
