CHM | COMPANY
At CHM, research, development and innovation are not abstract concepts: are practical tools that we apply on site to improve processes, optimize resources and solve real technical challenges.
Our commitment to advanced technology and continuous improvement allows us to implement effective, sustainable solutions adapted to the needs of each project.
The area of R&D&I works in coordination with our technical teams to integrate useful innovations, reduce environmental impacts and keep the company competitive in the infrastructure sector.
At CHM, innovation is a concrete practice integrated into every phase of the project. We focus on developing sustainable, efficient and technically viable construction solutions, incorporating new technologies, construction methods and materials with less environmental impact. The work of our R+D+I team allows us to optimize energy efficiency, reduce the carbon footprint and move towards more resource-responsible construction models. For us, innovation means improving what already works and anticipating what will be needed tomorrow.
We have our own Innovation Centerwhere we bring together interdisciplinary talent to address the challenges of the sector from multiple perspectives. Professionals from the architecture, engineering, technology and materials collaborate to develop on-site solutions: from new construction systems to the experimental use of advanced materials. This working environment allows us to evaluate real trends, validate emerging technologies, and apply tangible improvements in quality, efficiency and sustainability. Our commitment is clear: to move innovation from the laboratory to the field.
Digital transformation is a key lever for increasing the efficiency and reduce errors in all phases of the work cycle. At CHM we have initiated a comprehensive digitalization process that covers planning, execution and technical follow-up. We developed our own platform, CHM S-TOOLSdesigned to optimize internal processes, manage projects in real time and make data-driven decisions. This technological leap allows us to improve traceability, reduce response times and offer more accurate and transparent management.
At CHM, innovation does not stay in the laboratory: is transformed into real solutions. We participate in applied research projects that address technical, environmental and operational challenges within the construction sector. These developments, driven in collaboration with public and private entities, allow us to advance towards more sustainable, efficient and safe infrastructures.
LIFE NEEVE is a European project that seeks to reduce non-exhaust emissions (NEE) -such as particulates and microplastics - generated by road traffic. CHM is actively involved in the design and validation of innovative solutions applied to pavements, brakes and tires, with the objective of minimizing environmental impact and improving air and water quality. An initiative where technology and sustainability go hand in hand.
This news reflects CHM's commitment to the technological progress in the construction sector.
Each initiative highlights our commitment to applied research, the development of innovative solutions and continuous improvement in construction processes.
